Laura and Richard are an incredibly lovely couple. I met them last year in what felt like a first date scenario…. They sat in one cafe, I sat in a completely different one. After a while I began to think they’d changed their mind, self doubt began to creep in, maybe I’d not sounded professional enough in my emails, maybe they took one look at me and ran. Over in the cafe along they thought maybe I’d decided they weren’t photogenic enough and whizzed back out like a stealth ninja. After smiling and awkwardly approaching the fifth wrong couple who seemed to be dawdling round the door, Laura and Richard sped round a corner drinks in hand! I was so pleased to see them! For their engagement shoot Laura wanted to go to Alderley Edge as it’s a special place she’s spent time at over the years with her family. It was really nice to spend time in such enjoyable company, both Laura and Richard are very easy to bob along with, and we were able to chat and laugh all round The Edge. I was lucky it was such fun because over the course of this shoot it got colder and colder, and as you can see from the photos we were blessed with snow (yay!) arguably the most romantic type of weather! Really excited to get back together with Laura and Richard in April for their spring wedding when fingers crossed the weather will have warmed up.
